Symptom
- Your application reports a message with error 1204:
[ASE Error SQL1204]ASE has run out of LOCKS.
Re-run your command when there are fewer active users, or contact a user with System Administrator (SA) role to reconfigure ASE with more LOCKS.

- You are currently experiencing serious locks situations in the SAP BW system that let the system as unusable.
- Database becomes unresponsive even to commands on ISQL command line.
