1884948 - How to use the Afaria System Checking Utility to find the Afaria server version and patch level?

Symptom

The Afaria System Checking Utility can be used to find the following information about the Afaria system:

  • Hosting operating system version and .Net version
  • Internet Information Services (IIS) version
  • Afaria server version
  • Afaria server service-pack level
  • Applied hotfixes and patches for the Afaria server component

Note that, information about hotfixes that apply to a single component other than the Afaria server are not included. This information can be found under the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Afaria\Afaria\Patch key in the registry.  Post Service Pack 5 that information has been moved to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Afaria\Afaria\Setup
