Symptom

  • During the PP/DS production planning run, exceptions such as warnings and error messages are logged in the PP/DS planning log and stored in the alert database table /SAPAPO/ALERT_HP.
  • Over time, the size of table /SAPAPO/ALERT_HP increases significantly, which may negatively impact planning performance.
