1885537 - Solution Manager upgrade(SUM) fails with SQL1505 - SAP ASE for BS

Symptom

You are upgrading Solution Manager systems running on SAP ASE via SUM. Per SAPupConsole.log, following errors are encountered in phase MAIN_NEWBAS/PARCONV_UPG_DS:

Checks after phase MAIN_NEWBAS/PARCONV_UPG_DS were negative!
Last error code set: Conversion entries have been found in '/sum/SUM/abap/log/TBATGCHK.LOG', see phase log for more details

 

  • An example of the failure per /sum/SUM/abap/log/NCONV00.PSP:
