1885826 - How do you ensure that a BI Web Services request returns refreshed data in SAP BusinessObjects Platform BI 4.x?

Symptom

  • SAP BusinessObjects Platform BI 4.0 deployment.
  • Web Intelligence (WebI) document created in the Rich Internet Applicatoin (RIA) in BI launchpad that contain prompts.
  • A Table within the WebI document is published as a BI Web Service (BIWS).
  • The Manage BI services dialog is used to Test the Web Services.
  • The data returned in the Test dialog box does not reflect the expected data returned by the prompt values specified.
  • Testing indicates old data contained within the report is being returned - that there is no new data query being sent to the data source.
