Symptom

  • Adaptive Job server maintains thousands of stale Registry entries which tends the Event Viewer of Windows OS to consume system resource.
  • Thousands of registry keys are created by the AdaptiveJobServerChild process (java.exe):
    HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog\Application\BusinessObjects_<sia>.AdaptiveJobServer_CHILDXXXXX_DestinationWrapper
