1886375 - Adapter Engine tools and monitors do not work

In the NWA/PIMON the Adapter Engine related monitors and administration tools are not working properly.
The following error/warning message can be seen, depending on the tool used:

PI Monitor	Error text
PI Performance Monitoring	Performance data provider not registered for this PI component
PI IDoc Adapter Monitoring	Could not retreive the data. Check the log for details
PI Communication Channel Monitoring	Communication channel data provider not registered for selected Adapter Engine
PI Java Proxy Runtime Monitoring	JPR data provider not registered for this PI
PI Adapter Engine Status	Engine Status data provider not registered for this PI
PI Message Prioritization	Message prioritization data provider not registered for this PI
PI Background Processing	Archiving-job service not active
PI Adapter User-Defined Message Search Configuration	Could not connect to current PI component
