1886525 - Unable to Edit Project Scope Since the Edit Project Scope Button is Disabled

You have logged into your System and observed that the Edit Project Scope button is disabled. But View Project Scope button is accessible.

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Select Implementation projects view.

There are many possibilities for this issue and they are,

Case 1: (Productive System)

If the status of the Change Project or Implementation Project is Tested, then it is not possible to Edit the Project Scope. If you still wants to Edit the Project Scope then you have to revert the Go-Live Readiness Acceptance activity.

Case 2: (Initial Implementation Test System)

If the Test System is an Implementation Test System then it is not possible to perform scoping changes and it needs to be done in the Production system itself and not in the Test system. Test system can be used for transaction data changes and testing. As a workaround, Please follow the below steps,

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Select Implementation Projects view.
3. Select the First Implementation link.
4. In the new screen, you can find the Edit Project Scope button.

Case 3: (Change Test System)

If the system is a Change Test system, then you can Edit the Project Scope but once the system becomes Merged, then it is not possible to Edit the Project Scope.
