1886814 - Product Category Not Released For Accounting; Select Another Category

Error message Item XXX: Product category XYZ not Released for Accounting; Select another Category while creating shopping cart.

1. Go to the Home work center.
2. Navigate to the Self-Services Overview sub view.
3. Select Go Shopping (Advanced) link under the Shopping section.
4. In Step 3 Edit Shopping Cart, enter the Product Category, then the mentioned error would occur.

Account Determination Group for Product Category XYZ is not maintained in the fine tuning activity Default Account Determination Group for Product Categories.

You can maintain an account determination group for product category XYZ in the fine tuning activity.

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Navigate to the Implementation Projects view.
3. Select the Project and select Open Activity List button.
4. Navigate to the Fine-Tune Tab.
5. Select All Activities from the drop down list and search for activity Default Account Determination Group for Product Categories.
6. Open the activity and select Add Row button.
7. Maintain the Product Category ID and Default Account Determination Group and select Save button.
