1888038 - Logon Group can not be found

Symptom

  1. When login from SAPGUI, the following popup window appears:
    Logon Group 'XXXXXX’not found - check spelling and case sensitivity;

    Or in Transaction SMLG, clicking on the 'Load Distribution' option, some unstable behaviors can be seen, for example the value "0" is shown in all columns for a certain instance and/or the field 'Current logon instance' is blank:

  2. The following trace entries may be logged by different server processes in the developer trace files (dev_w*) in the work directory (LocalDrive\usr\sap\<SID>\SCS<XX>\work):
ERROR => dbsync[check_sync_interval]: xxx seconds passed since last synchronisation
ERROR => StatRecHook: time stamp in statistical record (xxXXxxXXxx) differs for more than xxx seconds from current time
ERROR => XX.zz.2017 21:27:35.139 PID=3376, TID=1068#SapTimer error. Time errors detected xxx times. Time may be incorrect
