1888148 - "java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: host parameter is null" Error in AXIS channel where CommonsHTTPSender is used over HTTP proxy

You have a receiver AXIS channel where you use the "com.sap.aii.adapter.axis.ra.transport.http.CommonsHTTPSender" as a handler type and you set up the proxy configuration in JVM Parameters (SAP Note: 1039369 --> Receiver Adapter General --> 29. How can I call some service over an HTTP proxy server?), but the following error is visible in the channel monitoring at this channel:
