1889212 - Crystal Reports web viewer and IE to Compatibility - solution

• Crystal Reports requires that IE 10 is se to "Compatibility Mode" to display reports in the Crystal Reports viewer for Visual Studio .NET
• For details see KBA 1877191 - Reports do not render when using IE 10 and the Crystal Reports Web viewer

• SAP Crystal Reports, developer version for Microsoft Visual Studio
• Microsoft Visual Studio (2010 / 2012)

• Create a web application using the Crystal Reports web viewer
• View a Crystal Reports in the above application on IE 10

• Enable Compatibility Mode in IE 10
• If the use of Compatibility Mode is not possible the following is a reported, but untested solution:
• Add the following meta tag to the head tag of the page that is serving up the report
