Symptom

  • During a synchronization of a SQL Anywhere database on a Microsoft Windows Mobile or Embedded Compact (CE) device using the SQL Anywhere MobiLink Synchronization Client (dbmlsync), the synchronization fails with the error SQLCODE -876 "Client out of memory"
  • The dbmlsync initial cache size (dbmlsync -ci) has been set, but no maximum cache size (dbmlsync -cm) has been specified
