1891665 - SapOsCol and SBOP ENTERPRISE metrics do not show up under SAP Host Agent Process in Wily Introscope

Symptom

  • You have installed the Solution Manager Diagnostics Agent in stand-alone mode (installation scenario = ishub) on a BI Platform 4.0 node however in Wily Introscope under SAP Host Agent Process the SapOsCol and SBOP ENTERPRISE nodes are missing
  • In the SMDAgentApplication log (/usr/sap/DAA/SMDA98/SMDAgent/log) the following exception is thrown:
Jul 23, 2013 2:16:27 PM [Thread[Connector,5,main]                     ] Fatal      com.sap.smd.wily.hostagent.WilyHostService - init(...): Failed to start Agent! 

[EXCEPTION]

 java.rmi.RemoteException: WilyHostAgent start failed; nested exception is: 


com.sap.smd.wily.hostagent.PermanentException: com.sap.engine.lib.xml.parser.NestedSAXParserException: Fatal Error: com.sap.engine.lib.xml.parser.ParserException: Document is not well-formed
