1891737 - An error has occurred during the execution of the Detect Wily Connector Path step

Symptom

  • In the configuration phase, SUM tool is reporting the following message:
    • "An error has occurred during the execution of the Detect Wily Connector Path step."
  • You can locate the error in DETECT-WILY-CONNECTOR-PATH_01.LOG which contains the following:

[Info  ]: Detecting information about instance DVEBMGS00.

[Info  ]: Detecting information about instance D<Nr>.

[Error ]: The following problem has occurred during step execution: com.sap.sdt.util.diag.DiagException: Dialog instance details have been detected but errors while persisting data have occurred.

Could not create common factory.

com.sap.engine.frame.core.configuration.NameNotFoundException: A configuration with the path "cluster_data/instance.properties.null" does not exist.

com.sap.engine.frame.core.configuration.NameNotFoundException: A configuration with the path "cluster_data/instance.properties.null" does not exist.

    •  Where <Nr> stands for the instance number having profile with missing j2ee/instance_id parameter.
