Symptom

OUTPUT USING statement with Microsoft Access Driver fails if one of below datatypes is contained in the ResultSet:

  • char
  • varchar
  • nchar
  • nvarchar
  • long varchar
  • long nvarchar

Below error is raised along with the datatype in question:

The table cannot be created because there is no data type in the destination database that corresponds to "char"
