1894289 - After deploying the SQL Anywhere client JDBC driver, DriverManager.getConnection() results in the error: "The *.jar build does not match the shared object build."

Symptom

When deploying the SQL Anywhere JDBC driver to an end-user system, there is an error exception thrown in the JDBC code from DriverManager.getConnection():

  • java.sql.SQLException: "sajdbc.jar does not match the shared object build"
  • java.sql.SQLException: "sajdbc4.jar does not match the shared object build"
  • java.sql.SQLException: "jodbc.jar does not match the shared object build"
  • java.sql.SQLException: "jodbc4.jar does not match the shared object build"
