1894913 - "Invalid event being ignored" messages in CMS trace logs

Symptom

After applying the fix associated with ADAPT01658828, as discussed under Knowledge Base Article 1776499,

  • Older temporary audit files, which were created before application of said fix, remain in the temporary Auditing directory indefinitely, and
  • The following type of messages are reported in Central Management Server's trace logs:
    • assert failure: (.\auditsubsystem_impl.cpp:2770). (0 : Invalid event being ignored
