1897193 - Web Intelligence reports based on MS SQL server, keep on refreshing after installing FP 5.5 of XI 3.1.

Symptom

After upgrading to fixpack 5.5 , below mentioned behavior is observed while connecting to SQL server  using ODBC connectivity:

1: Web Intelligence reports keep on refreshing and refresh never finishes.

2: Designer hangs  and needs to be closed from task manager when:

  • Trying to  parse any object definition.
  • Trying  to display lov’s  for any dimension.
  • Run any query on the inserted table as “ Show Table Values” and “Show Row Count”.
  • Open query panel add any dimension and click on Run.
