1898865 - Addresses Migrated for Org Structure is Missing in the Planning Area


You have migrated the Org Structure into your system with the Addresses maintained for some of the Org Units. Although the migration is successful, the Addresses are missing for the Org Units in Organizational Management work center.


The cause for the issue could be that the addresses from the template will be ignored, when the columns Main Address and Bill-To Address are empty from sheet Addresses of the Migration file that was used for migrating the Org Structure.

Normally the template will be filled automatically and therefore no warning is raised for the deleting of the addresses.


To resolve the issue, you can follow any of the below options,

Option 1: (Only very few Org Units are affected) or (Org Units are already activated)

In this case, you can manually maintain the address in the respective Org Units and activate the Org Structure.

Option 2 (Huge number of Org Units are affected)

1. Delete the Org Structure within Organizational Management work center. If the org structure is not activated it is possible to delete the org structure. But make sure the deletion should be done from bottom to top which means delete the Child Org Units and then the Parent Org Unit.

2. You can download the already imported file from the activity Perform Organizational Structure Setup and select Import org structure using the migration tool link.

3. Modify the file by adding the Main Address and Bill-To Address and upload the file with another file name.

4. Import the org structure again (after filling the columns Main Address or Bill-To Address) along with the Address which you have already maintained in the current migration template.
