1900286 - Where do the Values for Key Figures Quantity – Used for Invoicing and Quantity - Not Yet Invoiced come from?

Symptom

You find the Quantity – Used for Invoicing key figure and the Quantity - Not yet Invoiced key figure in project related reports (for example Revenue by Team Member or Customer Project Overview) and want to know where the values for this key figures come from.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Project Management or Customer Invoicing work center.
  2. Choose the Reports view.
  3. Run the respective report.
  4. Display key figure Quantity – Used for Invoicing or Quantity - Not Yet Invoiced.
  5. Also display the characteristic Invoice Request ID.

Resolution

The key figure Quantity-Used for Invoicing comes from the Quantity to be Invoiced field for the expenses for which a Project Invoice Request Item has been assigned. You find this field in the Project Invoice Request, Items tab, Time and Expense Items subtab.

The key figure Quantity - Not yet Invoiced is calculated according to the formula: Quantity - To be Invoiced + Quantity - Deferred + Quantities in any invoice request for the related project.

The related project invoice request can be in the status In Preparation, Released or Invoiced.
