1903259 - SUP not able to parse Unicode character - HTTP 400 error at DOE queue with message "Unable To Parse Request. - Character reference"

Symptom

  • CRM Sales Mobile App 2.1.6.
  • SYSFAIL seen in the DOE Devicequeue DOE_Q_000000000000000138: "400 - Unable To Parse Request. - Character reference"
  • DOE debugging to grab and analyse the payload XML shows that it cannot be opened with IE and in Eclipse.
  • Validating the file shows the error message "Character reference "&#xD83D" is an invalid XML character.
  • Looking at the Note in CRM it shows a weird character.
