1903766 - SSM - When do BI Connector, Entry and Approval, Cube Builder applications in Strategy Management require exclusive access to a PAS model?

Strategy Management includes some applications to create and load data into an Application Server PAS model database:

• BI Connector Administrator (aka "BICA") can be used to create a PAS model and to import BW queries data into it;
• Cube Builder (aka Model Designer in Strategy Management version 10.0) to create a model and define its dimensions and measures;
• Entry and Approval to manually enter data for metric sets into a PAS model through a monitored process.

Some of the activities performed in these applications require to access the relevant PAS model in exclusive mode.
