1904097 - POS2.3: Licensee Order lock in Store Manager

Symptom

  • POS2.3: Licensee Order lock in Store Manager
  • Licensee Order lock functionality is missing in Store Manager. A Licensee Order can be accessed and modified from any POS, Mobile POS or Store Manager station. If the same Order is accessed by a POS when another POS is already accessing it, the operator receives a message indicating #LWY RECORD IN USE BY TERMINAL #1#, for instance. This prevents two cashiers from modifying the same Order at the same time, which would cause the changes from one cashier to be lost when the other saves the Order. This control does not occur when one of the users is on the Store Manager application. Store Manager should include locking a Licensee Order when it is being accessed and should not access one that is being locked by another user, whether a POS, Mobile POS, or another Store Manager user. The same situation occurs when processing Receiving, Transfer and Physical Inventory documents: they should also be locked by the first user accessing them.
