Symptom

  • Unable to view synonym columns in data foundation of Information Design Tool(IDT).
  • The synonym is visible is in the table browser, however the columns of the synonym are not visible when using OLE DB connection.
  • The synonym is not visible in the table browser when using ODBC connection for SQL server.
