1904534 - BPF Validation: Children/Base Members not permitted

Symptom

  • In a Business Process Flow Process Template, a new activity is created with a Driving Dimension for which the option 'Time-dependent Hierarchy' has been enabled.
  • In 'Members' field, when using the selection method 'Base Members of' or 'Children of' and selecting a parent member (XXXX), a warning message is displayed when saving the BPF Process Template.
  • Warning message: "Process template saved. 1 validation warning. BPF: Validation: XXXX is leaf; Children/Base Members not permitted" whereas a parent member was selected.
  • Due to this validation warning, the BPF Process Template is invalid and cannot be deployed.
