This document is created as a quick reference on configuring an AJP connector between Apache 2.x and Tomcat 7/8/9. Such environments are typically configured to improve overall performance on the web tier by distributing the static application content on Apache web server and dynamic application content on to the Tomcat application server.
Disclaimer: This document is being provided on a best effort basis and is not the only available way to configure Apache Tomcat connector. There are several resources available on the internet to accomplish the same, so readers are advised to follow these steps at their own risk. SAP will not be able to provide support in case these instructions do not work, because all the products mentioned are 3rd party software. Please refer to the respective vendors for support.
