1907363 - Error Message : Text Is Too Long With 16 Exceeding Characters .

 You are trying to convert the Direct Responsibility UUID from customer migration object and the system troughs you the following error message :

Text Is Too Long With 16 Exceeding Characters

1. Go to Business Configuration Work center.
2. Go to Implementation Projects view.
3. Select the Project and Open the activity list.
4. Go to Integrate and Extend phase.
5. Find activity: Migration of Customers for SAP Cloud for Customer.
6. Click on Migrate customers using the migration tool.
7. Select the file.
8. Click on Execute Migration - > Execute Migration Step by Step.
9. Open the task Edit Value Conversion for Direct Responsibility UUID.
10. Confirm the values,  Save and Close.
11. Click Next, simulate the import and close the pop-up window.

The error message will be displayed.

The problem result from using the Direct Responsibility UUID field in data migration template. This field is required in the update of customer master data , but it has to be empty during data migration.

To resolve the issue, please delete all entries in the Direct Responsibility UUID field across accounts and start over data migration.

1. Go to Business Configuration Work center.
2. Go to Implementation Projects view.
3. Select the Project and Open the activity list.
4. Go to Integrate and Extend phase.
5. Find activity: Migration of Customers for SAP Cloud for Customer.
6. Click on Migrate customers using the migration tool.
7. Select the file.
8. Select Actions button and choose Edit option.
9. Go to Direct Responsibility tab.
10. Select All the records.
11. Select mass change button and choose Direct Responsibility UUID.
12. Select the function Clear value.
13. Select Apply Mass Change button.
14. Select Save and Close button.
