1908567 - Error ME 664 "Change & could not be effected" when creating/changing a purchase order through BAPI - SAP ERP & SAP S/4HANA.

Symptom

When creating (BAPI_PO_CREATE1) or changing (BAPI_PO_CHANGE) a purchase order. System triggers the message ME 664 - "Change & could not be effected", and the changes are not saved using the inputted data in BAPI.
