1909019 - How to troubleshoot connectivty issues between BI and BPC data sources with Fiddler

Symptom

  • In order to troubleshoot SAP BusinessObjects BI issues when using BPC as a data source, the Fiddler tool must be installed on the BPC application server.
  • If the BPC deployment uses a load balancing configuration, make sure the connection properties in the BI environment is using a direct connection to one of the BPC application servers.
  • It's always a good idea to test using IP addresses rather than using host names.
