Symptom

  • You are running SAP ASE for Business Suite in a replicated environment with SRS.
  • You are seeing the following errors in DBA Cockpit or in the Data Collectors:

    • DBA Cockpit shows: 

Msg 10353, Level 14, State 4:
Server '<SID>', Line 1:
You must have any of the following role(s) to execute this command/procedure: 'replication_role' . Please contact a user with the appropriate role for help.
  

    • The Data Collectors raise:

Msg 10330, Level 14, State 1:
Server '<SID>', Line 1:
SELECT permission denied on object XXX, database master, owner dbo
