Symptom

You cannot add an extension field to the Identification Region in purchase order via the Adaptation Mode or Personalize -> This Screen.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the work center Purchase Requests and Orders.
  2. Go to the view Purchase Orders.
  3. Mark the relevant purchase order and choose Edit.
  4. Choose Adapt -> Adaptation Mode.
  5. Choose Adapt -> This Screen.
  6. Choose the section Extension Fields.
  7. Under Sections Enabled for Extension Fields, the Identification Region is not listed.

Cause

This is not possible to add a field to the Identification Region for all documents in Business ByDesign. This is not supported.
