Symptom

Warning message F5201 - Posting period xx  xxxx is not open  (Period of fiscal year is not open for posting for the variant of posting period) - occurrs during transaction posting (T-code: AB08, AB01, etc.), and posting can be done successfully. However, periodic posting in T-code: ASKBN ends with error message F5201.
