1911429 - Error "Missing keys.ini path" or "Could not execute task" or NullPointerException when saving user password from IDM web UI

When setting user password from IDM web UI:

• 7.2 SP8 or higher: You get error "Could not execute task".
• Below 7.2 SP8: You get exception:
   
  java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method com.sap.idm.wd.jmx.SAP_ITSAM_IDM_ExecuteResult.getResult() of an object loaded from local variable 'result'
   at com.sap.idm.wd.wf.task.TaskCompView.onActionSave
   at com.sap.idm.wd.wf.task.wdp.InternalTaskCompView.wdInvokeEventHandler
   at com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.generation.DelegatingView.invokeEventHandler
   at com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.controller.Action.fire
   at com.sap.tc.webdynpro.clientserver.phases.ProcessingEventPhase.doHandleActionEvent

• You may also find following exception in AS Java default trace:
