• You are unable to logon to the Process Integration (PI) Enterprise Services Repository (ESR) or Integration Builder Directory.
• This may be an intermittent issue, sometimes you can access the Integration Builder tools and other times not.
• The error is:
  
  Cannot connect to server using message server:
  ms://<server>:<port>/P4 (SERVER_MS_NOT_AVAILABLE)
  
  
  
  
• In parallel with this, the Message Server may have crashed. Check the dev_ms file for entries like:
