Symptom

  • Takes long time to show the list of BEx Queries.
  • Slow to display the list of SAP BW BEx Queries from the repository when creating a new report in Crystal Reports for Enterprise.
  • Trace Logs show entries such as the following in the "JCOConnectionHelper::get JCoConnection properties" block
    • END OUTGOING CALL Outgoing: (NO RESPONSE) SPENT [20,010] FROM [BIPSDK.EnterpriseSession:getService#...]
    • pingServerFactory(): server doesn't exist, cms=<CMS host>:6400,name=<node>.AdaptiveProcessingServer...
