1913134 - You Cannot Find the Option to Add the Surcharge in the Sales Order

You cannot find the option to add the Surcharge in the sales order. Additionally you want the option to add the surcharges in the sales order in percentage.

1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
2. Create a New Sales Order from Common Tasks.
3. Add the account and other required details in the sales order.
4. Select the View All button.
5. Add a product in the Items tab.
6. Select the Pricing tab.
7. Under Item Pricing select the Add Row  button, the drop down list there is no option to select Surcharge.

The surcharge has been not scoped by you in the Business Configuration, this is the reason why it does not appear in the sales order pricing.

Follow the steps below to add scope the surcharge in the system:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Implementation Projects view.
3. Select the relevant project and select the Edit Project Scope button.
4. In the scoping screen, go to the 3rd step Review Questions.
5. Show All Elements.
6. Expand General Business Data -> Product and Service Pricing -> Select Sales Price Specifications.
7. In the section Questions for Sales Price Specifications -> Search for the question Do you maintain surcharges?.
8. Select Yes for this question.

Follow the below steps to configure the percentage option for the surcharges:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Overview view.
3. Search for Configure Price Strategy activity.
4. Open the activity and choose the View button.
5. Select the Configure Pricing Procedure.
6. Here you can configure your pricing strategy for Gross Surcharge (%) and Gross Surcharge.

Note: The changes in the Configure Price Strategy activity can only be done by creating a change project.
