Symptom
The sales order has the error message:Item XX :Quantity 0,5 ea has too many decimals; only 0 decimal(s) permitted

Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Sales Orders work center.
- Go to the Sales Orders view.
- Show All Orders and Find XYZ (XYZ represents the ID of the sales order).
- Edit the sales order XYZ and you will get error message: Item XX: Quantity 0,5 ea has too many decimals; only 0 decimal(s) permitted
Cause
The error occurs due to the inconsistency of the Quantity added in the line item of the sales order.
At the item level of the the sales order XYZ, you have added the sales kit product ABC (ABC represents the ID of the sales kit product).
Here the quantity maintained for the product is 0,5, the quantity below 1 unit is not allowed to be added.
Since you have maintained the quantity as 0,5, the data become inconsistent and there was no price calculation which made the sales order inconsistent and it cannot send the update to the Customer Demand.
Resolution
To correct the sales order, you can change the quantity of the line item to valid quantity.
- Go to the Sales Orders work center.
- Go to the Sales Orders view.
- Show All Orders and Find XYZ (XYZ represents the ID of the sales order).
- Edit the sales order XYZ and select the View All button.
- Go to the Items tab.
- Select the line item with product ABC and edit the quantity and add the valid quantity.
