Symptom

Tables and Views of Oracle Database aren't displayed in Crystal Reports 2011 when connecting through Oracle ODBC driver(32bit).

Environment

  • SAP Crystal Reports 2011
  • 32bit Oracle 10g/11g ODBC driver(Oracle in OraClient10g/11g)
  • Microsoft ODBC for Oracle

Resolution

  1. Launch Crystal Reports 2011.
  2. Click File > Options.
  3. Click Database tab.
  4. Uncheck Stored Procedures in the Data Explorer.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click File > Exit.
  7. Launch Crystal Reports 2011.
  8. Click File > New > Standard Report.
  9. Double-click Create New Connection > ODBC (RDO).
  10. Select Data Source Name for Oracle ODBC.
  11. Click Next and type User ID and Password and click Finish.
