1915103 - Sybase Unwired Platform 2.2.x intermitten registration issues -SUP/SMP

Symptom

User is using Sybase Unwired Platform 2.2.4 with iOS devices, 1st Generation iPad devices running iOS 5.1.1 are experiencing connectivity issues when attempting to register on internal proxy connection inside the company network.  When running externally to the company network, outside the proxy, iPad first generation has no issues,.  The iPad 2nd and 3rd generation devices running iOS 6.x have no issues.
