1915403 - PCM: SSO Test button in the Configuration Wizard reports error 80020009 after one successful test.

Symptom

When using the PCM Configuration Wizard to configure SSO using AD (Active Directory) or LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) you will get one successful test after pressing the “Test” button but after that all subsequent tests report a fail with error 80020009:

The Windows application event log shows the following error:
