• While executing a .NET application which views a Crystal report in a Crystal Reports Viewer,following error occurs:

ERROR: "The program can’t start because cxlibw-5-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

• The application has been migrated from Crystal Reports 2008 .NET SDK.

Corrupt installation of SAP Crystal Reports, developer version for Microsoft Visual Studio.

There are two resolutions to the above issue as follows:

• Resolution 1:
  
  Uninstall all the components of SAP Crystal Reports, developer version for Visual Studio and reinstall it once again.
  
  
• Resolution 2:

For 64 bit machines:

1. Copy cxlib-5-0.dll and cxlibw-5-0.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\SAPBusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\Common\SAPBusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64\
To:
C:\windows\system32

2. And copy cxlib-5-0.dll and cxlibw-5-0.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\SAPBusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\Common\SAPBusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win32_x86\
To:
C:\windows\syswow64

For 32 bits machines: 

Copy cxlib-5-0.dll and cxlibw-5-0.dll from:
