Symptom
If an Alaska application tries connecting to an Advantage Database Server 10.10.0.0 on a Windows 2008 machine over a mapped drive from an XP machine, the number of connections increases to a very high number in the Advantage Configuration Utility.
The client application on XP receives no response from the Advantage Database Server (ADS), however there are no error messages. Using the same workstation it will connect fine to an ADS server running on a Windows 7 machine.
