Symptom

  • Aleri Streaming Platform (ASP) sp_archive utility to load data into IQ fails intermittently
  • Error messages seen in sp_archive log 
     failed SQLRETURN code is -1
    ERROR: Executing Statement
    load table <rest of SQL statement>
    SqlState : HY000 Error Message :[Sybase][ODBC Driver][Sybase IQ]Connection was terminated
    ERROR: While bulk loading data for Stream to exernal repository.
    ABORTING ARCHIVE.
    DATA ARCHIVAL FAILED TO FINISH SUCCESSFULLY ON: Wed Sep 11 10:55:47 2013
  • related error messages seen in the IQ iqmsg file and server log 
    I. 09/11 10:04:39. Connection ID 95: disconnecting client - No activity for 60 minutes
