When displaying a grid of values summarised from input data like Line Item Values… the expectation is that they will display quite quickly because the calculations involved are relatively “straight forward” and don’t require much processing time. This expectation is back up by tests that show very low CPU consumption (3-5%) during the calculation of these summarised values. However, when the calculate button is “on” and a background calculation is in progress then the grids of summarised values are very slow to populate (5-10+ minutes).
