1918403 - Accounting Principle which is maintained for the Set Of Books is not getting displayed in the Functional Area Determination

You have created 3 Set Of Books with 3 Accounting Principle for 3 different companies. But only one Accounting Principle is getting displayed in the Functional Area Determination.

You cannot view your desired G/L Account & Chart of Accounts in respect to your Accounting Principle in the Functional Area Determination To see that follow these steps:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Click on the Implementation Projects.
3. Select your Project and click on Open Activity List.
4. Go to the Fine Tune and click on it.
5. Type - Settings for Income Statements by Function of Expense and Earned Profit Analysis in the Find field.
6. Select the Settings for Income Statements by Function of Expense and Earned Profit Analysis and click on Open button.
7. Click on the Edit Functional area determination and you can see that no G/L Accounts & Chart of Accounts in respect to your Accounting Principle has been displayed.

The root cause of this issue Contribution Margin Scheme field is left Blank for the other two Set Of Books which is not getting displayed in the Functional Area Determination.

You have to maintain the Contribution Margin Scheme field in the Set Of Books. Follow the below mentioned steps for the same:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Click on the Implementation Projects.
3. Select your Project and click on Open Activity List.
4. Go to the Integrate and Extend and click on it.
5. Find Settings for Set of Books and click on Go button.
6. Select Set of Books and click on Open.
7. Select your Set Of Books ID in respect to your company ID and Accounting Principle.
8. Click on Edit and your Set of Books: ABC window will open.
9. Click on the Company Settings and maintain your Contribution Margin Scheme field with desired value and save it.
10. Go to the Fine Tune and click on it.
11. Type - Settings for Income Statements by Function of Expense and Earned Profit Analysis in the Find field.
12. Select the Settings for Income Statements by Function of Expense and Earned Profit Analysis and click on Open button.
13. Click on the Edit functional area determination and maintained Functional Area for the respective Accounting Principle in respect to your Set Of Books.
14. Finally click on Save and Close.
