• A static linked application built with SDK for SAP ASE 15.7 ESD#5 or older will execute without setting the LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable.
• When the application is built with SDK for SAP ASE 15.7 ESD#6 or ESD#7, upon execution, returns the error:
• CT-Library error:
• ct__string_extended_encryption: userapi layer: internal common library error: Client password encryption fails.
• Once the LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable is set, the application runs without error.
