1919115 - CONVT_NO_NUMBER in RZ04, RZ03 or RZ10

Symptom

CONVT_NO_NUMBER dump occurs when calling RZ04 transaction (maintain operation modes and instances). Same dump may appear in RZ10.
 
This Knowledge Base Article describes two different symptoms:

Symptom 1.

What
happened?
    Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "RSRZLST2" had to be terminated because it has
    come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
...
Error analysis
    An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
    The exception, which is assigned to class '', was not
     caught in
    procedure "NORMALIZE_WP_ID" "(FORM)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING
     clause.
 

Symptom 2.

Excerpt of dump:

<formula> cannot be interpreted as number

e.g.:

Short Text                                                                                        
    "(max(min(1000+40*max(5,floor(($(PHYS_MEMSIZE)-128)*25/128)),16384),1024))"                   
     cannot be interpreted as a number
