1919385 - Error message "Safety stock must not be more than target stock"

For a particular Material, you have maintained Target stock level as Lot-Sizing Method and maintained XYZ value for Target Stock Quantity. System throws below error message

Safety stock must not be more than target stock

1. Go to Product Data work center.
2. Select Materials view.
3. Edit a Material and go to Planning tab.
4. Where Lot-Sizing Method is Target stock level; Target Stock Quantity is XYZ.

The cause for the issue is that the Target Stock Quantity is lesser than Safety Stock.

This is expected system behavior that the Safety Stock should be less than Target Stock Quantity.
