1919653 - Business users cannot access LMS screens (GUI) from virtual server

Symptom

After a recent system-wide policy change on type of authentication from NTLM v1 to NTLM v2 (released for Windows NT 4 service pack 4), LMS web-client cannot make a security validation with NTLM v2. When accessing the LMS URL, connection is rejected with javax.servlet.ServletException com.ibm.ws.webcontainer.servlet.ServletWrapper.handleRequest() 309.
